Last Friday, residents of the Sunrise Ranch neighborhood in Montgomery, Texas received a strange visitor. At about 3:30AM, someone rang the doorbell at a number of homes, but disappeared by the time they answered the door. You might expect this to be the work of teenage pranksters, or a drunken partygoer who forgot their address, but surveillance footage of the visitor reveals very unusual circumstances.

In the chilling seven second CCTV video, an unidentified woman approaches the doorway. She is partially dressed, wearing a T-shirt, without any pants or shoes. There appears to be broken hand restraints, or 'shackles,' dangling from one wrist. While she lingers, she appears to look down the block nervously. However, by the time the resident awakens and opens the door, the woman has vanished. Reportedly the woman rang doorbells at several properties, always disappearing before the homeowners could answer.

"I heard somebody who sounded like they were downstairs, but then by the time I got to the door they were gone," stated an unidentified resident. "I looked outside but I didn’t see anybody." Another unidentified resident told Click2Houston, 'We were dead asleep in our beds. My husband was woken up by doorbell ring. It rang probably 20 to 30 times. [When my husband] walked outside no one was in sight. It's like she disappeared in thin air."

Pretty suspicious, right? Montgomery County deputies are investigating the incident, but so far there are no leads. "Numerous citizens in the state and outside have sent missing persons flyers suggesting the women in the video is a missing person from their area," stated the Sheriff's Office. "Deputies and Detectives are reviewing these flyers for any similarities, but as of now none are believed to be the women in the video."

Needless to say, residents of the Sunrise Ranch neighborhood are rattled. "I've got a 9-year-old daughter at home. It worries me what's going on in the neighborhood," stated neighbor Branson Golson to KTRK. "The look on her face, but she was being very very quiet… she just looked distressed,"  stated one unidentified resident to ABC News.

The creepy black and white video looks like something from a found footage horror movie. With such little information available, speculation is rampant. The Daily Mail suggests the woman may be 19-year-old Caitlyn Denison. Her sister, Rachael, claims to recognize Caitlyn tattoos in the grainy footage. Caitlyn went missing in January when she was two months pregnant, flying from Reno, Nevada to Midland, Texas with a man she just met. Reportedly her last words to Rachael were, "This guy makes me scared for my life."
