Baba Vanga has issued another warning to humanity with a chilling prophecy for what's to come in 2027.
The Bulgarian mystic and healer, who died in 1996, never wrote down her prophecies in her own lifetime, but they've been diligently saved by her followers over the years.
Over the years, the late Vanga has gained a reputation for accurately predicting some major events in world history.
The prophet's followers say that she correctly predicted the outbreak of World War II, the 9/11 attacks and the election of an African-American (in this case, Barack Obama) as President of the United States.
What are Baba Vanga's prophecies for 2027?
In a compendium of Vanga's prophecies by Prophet 666, it says that the late Bulgarian mystic predicted that next year will bring "biological changes" to humankind and the emergence of deadly new diseases.
Like the famed Nostradamus before her, many of Vanga's prophecies are written in a strange, coded language that is open to interpretation - but it definitely seems like she made two major predictions for things yet to come in 2027.
Vanga eerily predicts that, in 2027, some humans will gain "superhuman" like powers after they are exposed to a new disease or some kind of biological and genetic experimentation.
It's not entirely clear what these "superhuman" symptoms will be or where exactly they're gained from.
But it's clear that, whether by some deadly new disease or the encroachment of biological warfare between the nations of the world, Vanga definitely foresaw that 2027 would bring some big changes to humanity.
How accurate are Baba Vanga's prophecies?
No matter how much of a chill you may get out of reading the late prophet's predictions, whether or not she did actually predict these things is still a topic for debate.
Famously, Baba Vanga never wrote down her own predictions, so her predictions only exist as written thanks to the people who were closest to her.
Even perhaps her most famous prediction, that she foresaw the events of 9/11, is up for debate when you read what Vanga actually said:
"Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds."
Which, depending on how generous your interpretation of those words is, is either a chilling prediction of the attack on the Twin Towers...or a very vague statement about something happening with airplanes in America.
Still, Baba Vanga's notoriety has only grown in the last few years - so let's keep an eye on things next year to see how they pan out.
