A man who has the highest IQ in the world has made a sweeping statement about whether God exists and whether religion has the answer.
South Korean scientist YoungHoon Kim is widely considered the world's current "most intelligent" person, boasting an IQ of 276.
The genius has now shared a claim about the existence of God, not for the first time, despite many scientists remaining sceptical about whether a god truly exists.
Many religious people believe that a higher power created and looks after the world, and that they will meet them in the afterlife one day.
It's a debate which has raged on for hundreds of years, but you'd expect someone with the highest IQ in the world to have an opinion worth listening to.
Kim took to X earlier this week, claiming: "As the world's highest IQ record holder, I finally concluded that God is real, Jesus is real, and the Bible is real. 100%."
He also uploaded a video holding a cross on a necklace, saying: "Jesus is the answer. He is coming soon. 100%."
For reference, the average IQ is around 100, with anything over 140 classed as "genius" level.
Albert Einstein's IQ was said to be around 160, while Voltaire and Isaac Newton are both estimated to be around 200; William Shakespeare is estimated to be around 210, and Leonardo da Vinci is believed to have had an IQ of 220.
It was first announced in April 2024 by the Giga Society for people with IQs above 190, that Kim had scored 276, making him the most intelligent person in the world on paper.
In the past, he had already announced: "God is real 100% and Jesus is God. - World's Highest IQ 276 Holder."
The scientist scored perfect marks on several tests to measure high intelligence.
He also serves as an intelligence specialist advisor at the World Mind Sports Council, World Memory Championships, World Speed-Reading Championship, and World Mind Mapping Championship, and is the president and executive director at the United Sigma Intelligence Association (USIA).
Kim has spoken about religion over the years, having previously stated: "Christ is my logic," adding that he plans to use his platform to lead others to faith.
Kim also holds a theology degree from Seoul's Yonsei University, which he called "the ultimate discipline of all fields of study.”
When speaking about the possibility of an afterlife, Kim revealed that it aligns with science using quantum physics and theories of consciousness, explaining: "If reality is part of something bigger, then death is not the end, but a transition."
He went on: "Our death is not destruction, but change and shift. Humanity will keep searching for the truth about what comes after."
