Samsung ad savagely mocks iPhone X with Apple fanboy haircut

Let's face it - iPhones are cool, but they can be annoying. Apple got rid of the headphone jacks, forcing you to buy tiny Lightning adapters you will constantly lose. The battery life burns out faster than Kevin Spacey's career. They're stingy with storage, so when you take a picture of your breakfast, you have to delete a picture of your grandma. Every time you drop the phone, the screen cracks, and that's when you have a case! Water kills it quicker than the Wicked Witch of the West. Autocorrect is the ducking worst. I mean the ducking worst. I mean - oh, duck it. Then there are the Apple fanboys, who treat the company like a religion, and believe they can do wrong. They pray to Steve Jobs five times a day and beg his forgiveness for coveting their neighbor's Zune. They won't buy any products unless there's an "i" in front of it, and they only date people whose names start with "i" as well. And whenever there's a brand new iPhone that's slightly better then the one they already have, they wait in line all night to be the first ones to throw a thousand bucks in the collection plate. Hallelujah! Jobs is good! Praise be. When the iPhone X was announced, it was exciting. They jumped right from the iPhone 8 to the iPhone 10 - 9's are for losers! Most importantly, it comes with revolutionary Face ID. Instead of logging in by reading your thumbprint, the phone reads your face, allowing you to feel like you're really living in the future. But in order to accommodate the new front-facing camera and facial-recognition technology, they picked an unusual "notch" design. Technology critics blasted the notch, calling it "odd," "ridiculous," and "would not smash." [[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/Krogsgard/status/916459424084045824]] Apple's rival, Samsung, joined in on the mockery, releasing a hilarious commercial. It's called "Samsung Galaxy: Growing Up" and has already gone viral, with over three million views. [[youtubewidget||https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R59TevgzN3k]] The minute-long ad depicts the life of an Apple fanboy over the past decade - from the first iPhone in 2007 to the iPhone X in 2017. The spot pokes fun at common iPhone complaints, like limited storage, poor waterproofing and small screens. But the best part is at the end, when they show an Apple fanatic sporting a haircut modeled after the peculiar new "notch" design. Sure, it looks ducking hilarious, but you know somewhere there's an Apple fan who's really considering getting that haircut. Of course, it's not like Samsung's not much different from Apple. Both faced allegations of worker mistreatment at their supplier factories in China. What's more, rumor has it when Samsung launches the Galaxy X9, they will also ditch the headphone jack - which is much worse than any human rights violation. Yeah, these phones are pretty similar, but it's funny to see one company roast another like this. Aren't Samsung Galaxy's easy to scratch up? Maybe Apple will release a commercial depicting a Samsung fanboy with a scratched up face. Me, I'm sticking with my landline. Cell phones are just a fad.
