It's true that, out of all the animals in the animal kingdom, sharks have a pretty bad reputation. Maybe it's because of the baleful influence of the Steven Spielberg movie Jaws, maybe it's just because they're scary looking creatures, or maybe it's because of the (very rare) fatal attacks on human beings, but sharks have never been creatures that the human race has regarded particularly fondly.

However, it seems as though that reputation could be on the mend. How do I know this? I'll tell you: because the American retailer Walmart is now selling an amazing selection of bedsheets for kids, which are adorned with these adorable baby sharks. Now your little ones can cover their entire bed in sheets, pillows, and blankets with the shark family. Awww!

The baby sharks are based on the characters from the popular viral YouTube video "Baby Shark Dance." If you have kids of your own then you probably know full well just how popular these aquatic characters are with little kids, and so they'll probably be clamouring to snuggle up in bed with them.

On Walmart's online store, the product's official description states: "Squeeze to hear the Baby Shark song, the global sensation with over 3.3 billion views! Collect all 3 of your favourite sharks: Baby Shark, Mommy Shark and Daddy Shark! Meet the famous Shark Family. You won't be able to cuddle them enough! Squeeze them to hear the Baby Shark song, the global sensation with over 3.3 billion views!"

It adds: "Super soft plush makes this shark your new cuddle buddy! Available as a fun and dynamic Baby Shark dancing doll, stackable Shark Family sound cube dolls and the famous Shark Family singing plush doll!"

The video, which was created by the children's entertainment YouTube channel Pinkfong, currently boasts an incredible 3 billion views and more than 9 million likes. Pinkfong is an educational brand owned by the South Korean media startup SmartStudy, and it's now the most-viewed educational video phenomenon of all time.

As a result of the song's popularity, it has spawned something of a viral cultural phenomenon in South Korea, and the YouTube version of the song has now spurred an online dance craze - The Baby Shark Challenge.

The popularity of the video has led to talks of a stage show entitled: Baby Shark Live! launching in the near future, as well as a possible Baby Shark television show which will air on Nickelodeon.

Commenting on the upcoming theatrical tour, Round Room Live co-president and lead producer and promoter Stephen Shaw recently told People that: "We are really excited to be partnering with Pinkfong to bring a live version of their viral sensation, Baby Shark, throughout the U.S. and Canada."

He added: "Baby Shark Live is a world-class children's brand that transfers naturally to the live stage, and we can't wait to delight fans with this fun and engaging experience."

But this isn't the only product Walmart is offering to help people sleep. They also have a great night-time product for adults too. Check out this incredible offer: a $15 plant that can improve sleep quality and prevent snoring.
