Looking back a few years, you may think you've come a long way intellectually, and you're probably right to think that. But despite the fact we tend to learn more with each year that goes by, there are some things that are completely lost on adults that children can master easily.
A major part of this is the fact that as a child, your way of thinking, while simpler in many ways, is also so imaginative you will come up with the most out-there solutions to a problem. If you ever get the chance to hear a seven-year-old's idea for a story, you are going to hear some ideas that you will hear nowhere else, that's for sure.
