Craig Hamilton-Parker is a self-styled prophet, and you can't deny that some of his predictions are more than just "airy fairy" guesses.
The British "psychic" correctly predicted some very significant political events to occur, namely Brexit and the election of
Donald Trump as president. Both of these seemed pretty far-fetched to people, so it shocked everyone when the news came out that each event was actually going to happen.
But Craig saw it coming. And now, with 2018 just six weeks away, he thinks he's already got a good idea of how the year will pan out. Craig's shared what visions he's had for the next year, and it's not looking so good. He took to his blog to detail what's in store, saying "2018 will be a year of political turmoil and environmental crisis caused by dramatic and unprecedented weather."
We'll have more natural disasters, a global health crisis, and riots across Europe. Tensions between North Korea and the US will escalate, and the leader of each country will also face problems with their people. But while much of it sounds very bleak, it's not all bad. 1. Prince Harry will get engaged
And the way things are looking now, it'll probably be to Megan Markle.
2. A volcano near Naples will erupt
Most likely it'll be Vesuvius, which despite its catastrophic eruption in the year 79, is still active. Craig predicts there will be more seismic activity in general, causing earthquakes in places haven't had them in thousands of years.
3. Donald Trump will survive an impeachment attempt
What's more, he'll probably get more popular as a result.
4. A sizeable bit of Antarctica will break away
A huge ice shelf will break away from the continent, making certain parts of the Southern seas impossible to cross.
5. A US warship will sink
It'll go down because of an explosion.
6. Kim Jong-un will be overthrown
Craig predicts the North-Korean dictator will be deposed by his people, but he'll probably survive and flee to hide in China. He also suggested that the US will blow up a key North Korean trade route, disrupting imports.
7. The Euro will collapse
This will lead to riots across the continent, and it most likely would have been brought on by an Italian banking crisis.
8. There'll be more terrorist attacks
More specifically, Craig's grim predictions specify that there'll be chemical attacks. He suggested that multiple drones carrying dangerous gas could be used for an attack on a European capital city.
9. Mass strikes in Britain
Politician Jeremy Corbyn would be urging the strikes, but he'll lose support from voters. Craig also predicted that Theresa May will remain as the UK's prime minister.
10. Global flu epidemic
This could be linked to biological warfare, who would purposefully spread the illness across the world. He suggested that it could be seeded in multiple countries by a terrorist group.
While the 2018 outlook according to Craig is looking pretty grim, he says that we shouldn't despair.
"Many of the above predictions are pretty gloomy but I feel that there will be a simultaneous growth in spirituality for the people of the world that will now start to lead us into a Golden Age.
"Conflict and hardship plus growing environmental problems will bring good people together and ignite a desire to seek the true purpose of human life."
Yikes, let's hope so.
