3. Cameron Diaz
The Golden Globe nominated actress hasn't appeared in a film since 2014's Annie. She may be taking time out to focus on her marriage to Good Charlotte's lead guitarist, Benji Madden.

4. Jack Nicholson
Despite having more Oscar nominations than any other male actor in history, Jack Nicholson hasn't appeared in a feature film since 2010's How Do You Know? While fans have speculated that this had to do with him experiencing memory loss in his advanced age, Nicholson has repeatedly denied these rumours.

5. Lara Flynn Boyle
Despite being one of the "it" girls of the Nineties, having starred in David Lynch's cult classic, Twin Peaks, Lara Flynn Boyle has been decidedly absent from our screens since 2014.

The Oscar and Golden Globe winning actress hasn't been seen much since the mid 00's. And this is purportedly because of the influence of the now-disgraced film mogul, Harvey Weinstein. He allegedly blacklisted Sorvino after she filed a harassment claim against him.

The troubled child-star has been in and out of rehab since she went through a public meltdown a few years ago. She is reportedly attending fashion school and preparing to return to acting.
