20 Millennials reveal the reason why they are completely against marriage

Ah, marriage. In the idyllic white-picket-fence future we all at some point like to imagine for ourselves, we find someone who gives us butterflies (read: crippling anxiety) in our stomachs, plunge ourselves into debt for a lavish and unnecessary declaration of our love, sowing the seeds for decades of resentment, not to mention an expensive and agonising separation somewhere down the line, statistically. At least the latest generation of wedding-aged people (the Millennials) know how much marriage sucks. Half of the time, the "til death do us part" of the agreement is voided, and who has the time and money to worry about overpriced diamonds, one-use dresses or orchid arrangements?! Here are a few more reasons, if you needed them, that some Millennials are completely against the idea of marriage.

Well there you go. While there are an increasing number of people who are swearing off marriage, that doesn't necessarily mean that marriage is a bad thing, or that every Millennial is vehemently against it. I do hope that you've exposed yourself to some new opinions, and that at the end of the day, we all do what makes us happy in the long run.
