And some people claim that fishing is a relaxing pastime...
A video has surfaced online showing the moment two fishermen were pulled off the boat and into the sea by a monster fish they had hooked on their line.
Uploaded to YouTube by the channel Chew On This, the video's description explains that the group of friends were out on the boat celebrating angler Mike's birthday.
However, I'm sure it was a surprise party when his 450-pound catch decided to pull him in the drink.
Check out the intense struggle below:Speaking to Fox News, Ben Chancey, a captain with Chew On This Charters, explains that he was hired to take a group on a surprise fishing trip for birthday boy Mike, who was celebrating the big 3-0.
However, Mike was initially told that he was going on a manatee sightseeing trip by friend Eric and his girlfriend Jenny.
Chancey added that Mike was able to hook the 450-pound grouper fish that had been spotted in "ultra-clear" waters.
Appearing to be handling the situation well, Chancey let Mike try to reel it in on his own. However, Mike's luck quickly ran out, as Chancey explains:
"After about 10 seconds of fighting the giant fish on his own he was pulled down to the gunnel and was lifted overboard by the giant fish. When he went over he grabbed the side of the boat and then had the rod pulled out of his hand. The rod was lost."
But amazingly, Jenny spotted the sunken rod roughly 20 minutes later "on the bottom in the crystal clear 40-foot-deep water".
The friends had planned on swimming down to retrieve the rod, but lucky for them, the rod had been caught on the boat's anchor - meaning they were able to reel the anchor in and retrieve the rod - WITH THE GROUPER STILL ATTACHED TO THE LINE.
With the fight back on, Mike and his pals were eventually able to reel in the tired beast.
However, the fish wasn't finished with them, as Chancey explains: "We transferred the rod to Eric so Mike could jump in and get a great pic with his catch.
"While Eric was holding the rod the fish made a mad dash for the bottom again launching Eric overboard with the rod and reel.
"Eric eventually released the lever drag while hanging on the side of the boat so I could get the rod from him. I took the rod and re-landed the Goliath Grouper while Eric threw his phone and keys in the boat because they were wet from him being pulled overboard."

He added that when the group pulled the massive fish in, several boats had gathered around to watch and applaud to "upper-echelon" catch.
Since being uploaded to YouTube three days ago, the video has already amassed over 100,000 views, with commenters in disbelief at what they were seeing.
One commenter wrote: "That was spectacular! Haha, he had that rod clamped between his legs AND held on to the boat. Color me impressed!"
And for anybody concerned about the grouper, the Chew On This YouTube channel confirmed that it did swim away free.
