In a Kardashian-inspired world, it seems like almost every girl out there is looking for some junk in the trunk. But what if we told you that a starfish has a better butt than you ever will?

It's never done a squat in its life, but one sea star has stolen Kim K's title of biggest butt in showbusiness.

The starfish first found fame when Twitter user @Babyshoujo posted a picture of it after a trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California, writing: "Saw a thicc ass starfish at the aquarium today".

Since the end of June, it's picked up more than 170,000 retweets and 640,000 likes, and it's on its way to world domination, draggin' that wagon one step at a time. Check out the best tweets here, and marvel as you come to terms with the fact that Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants has basically come to life in front of your eyes.

Sidenote: It's since been confirmed by Nate Jaros (curator of fish and invertebrates at the Aquarium of the Pacific) in USA Today that what we're seeing in the photo are the contracted muscles of the starfish's arms as it grips the rock, not a butt - but this information doesn't stop us from being jealous swines. Get me a rear end like that!
