A video has gone viral on social media this week which shows a gigantic alligator rampaging around a golf course.
Per a report by the New York Post, the footage of the scaly beast was recorded by two men named Tyler Stolting and Jeff Jones.
The chilling video of the creature was later shared on the official Facebook page of the Valencia Golf and Country Club, in Naples in Florida on Wednesday, November 11.
Take a look at the footage of the monstrous gator below:

The video in question shows the massive reptile prowling around the lawn before slinking towards the water of a nearby pond. The footage was captioned simply: "Out enjoying the tropical conditions!"
In a later interview with the NYP on the subject of the video, Stolting stated:
"I was a little shocked, obviously. It was pretty big, biggest one I’ve ever seen!"
Meanwhile, Jones stated:
"It’s been a while since I’ve seen one that big, I was a little shocked... I’ve been here a long time and I’m not surprised to see it walking across the golf course, I am a little surprised at how big it was."
Suffice to say, a number of Facebook users took to the comments to express their shock over the sheer size of the lizard.
For instance, one person wrote: "I watched it like eight times to make sure it was real. I thought it was a scene from the movie, Crawl. That thing is huge! I can't even imagine what I would do if I saw one like that!"
This video comes just a week after a man from Florida managed to catch and kill a 1,000 pound, 13-foot-long alligator he claimed had been "stalking" him.
Per CNN, Corey Capps, who hails from Blountstown in Florida, spotted the gator while riding down the Apalachicola River with his wife. Employing the help of a friend, he harpooned the animal the next day, on October 13.

In a later interview with CNN on his phenomenal catch, Capps stated: "Three different times in the last two months, I've been back there fishing and he's stalked me. So me and him, something was going to give between the two of us."
"We went out and harpooned him... and we didn't realize. We knew he was big, but not as big as when we pulled him up that bank. Across the top of his head was 16 inches wide. He's the biggest one I've ever seen."
