A train carriage has fallen from an overpass onto the I-5 highway in Washington State outside Seattle.
The Amtrak train plummeted onto the highway, though as yet it is unclear how many have been injured or indeed how many casualties the incident has resulted in.
Amtrak said it was "aware" of the incident in a Twitter post that reads;
"We are aware of an incident involving Amtrak train 501. We will update with additional details as they become available."

It is unclear at the timing exactly what has caused the derailment.
WSDOT have advised that drivers should expect delays and avoid the area.
The crashed occurred at roughly 7:30am.
