Nobody likes getting older. Well, I should rephrase that. As you get older, you become more comfortable with yourself, and you care less about other people think, and those aspects are great. What I mean to say is that nobody likes looking old. It's always a bummer when you spot those extra lines in your face or when your notice your "six-pack" has suddenly turned into a keg.
However, the first signs of aging often appear in your hair. Guys - well, mostly guys - have to deal with balding, and that always sucks. Scientists say they're close to
discovering a cure for baldness, but it's not exactly on the shelf at the grocery store, and when it does get there, I doubt it will be cheap. Sure, you can shave your head, but there's no guarantee your chrome dome will make you look as cool as Jason Statham. And then there's one dilemma both men and women have to deal with: going gray.

You never know when you first gray hairs will appear - it could be in your 40's, your 30's, your 20's or even much earlier than that. And that might be the most dreaded thing - looking older than you are, instead of younger than you are. Well, as always, it's
Chrissy Teigen, the supermodel, television host, and "queen of social media"
to the rescue. A couple years ago, she shared a photo of her stretch marks to help women feel more comfortable with their bodies. Now she posted a Tweet embracing her gray hair, writing "I have a skunk like streak of grey hair and I’m actually very into it. My cruella dreams are coming true!"

"Cruella dreams" of course refers to Cruella De Ville, the famous villain from Disney's 101 Dalmatians, who had a notorious "skunk-like streak" in her hair. And then there's also Rogue from X-Men, so you maybe you could also this look "going rogue"? Anyway, Chrissy's tweet got over 1,500 retweets and 55,000 likes, inspiring hundreds of women to share photos of their own silver streaks, salt-and-pepper sprinkles and "unicorn hairs." Many of them added them the hashtag "EmbraceTheGray," which started trending. If your hair's getting its first signs of winter frost, you're not alone!

One woman even shared a picture of a baby girl, with a "white patch of hair" in exactly the same spot as her mother. (Wow. I didn't know that was a thing!)

It's great to see so many people embracing their natural hair color - also, they are probably saving a lot of money on hair dye. Maybe this will inspire a trend, and young people will dye their hair to go full Cruella. However, I have to point out that while Chrissy Teigen bragged about her own skunk-like streak, she didn't actually share a photo of it. And after combing through her pictures on social media for few minutes, I'm not seeing any Cruella Dreams. So, come on, Chrissy. Pics or it didn't happen. Embrace the gray - like
Jessica Biel at the Golden Globes.
