Tammy Slaton, star of TLC's hit reality show, 1000-lb Sisters, has been seen walking on her own after undergoing weight loss surgery.

The 36-year-old has been open about her struggles with obesity and addiction to food, which is the basis of the reality show.

Tammy's weight loss was documented after she dropped 183 lbs following her stint at a food rehabilitation facility, as reported by The Mirror. During the most recent series of the TLC show, Tammy hit her goal weight after she dropped from 717 lbs to 534 lbs, and posted pictures on Instagram of her dramatic change.

At the time, she expressed her happiness in shedding weight, saying: "When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second. I'm like 14 lbs. under my goal weight. From over 700, that's a huge drop. I'm feeling thrilled, proud, excited - just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment."

Earlier this year, Slaton took to her TikTok page to reveal her new accomplishment to her followers on the social media platform - she can now sit in the front seat of a car. In the footage, Tammy donned a bright floral top and was seen dancing and lip-syncing while sitting in the vehicle's front seat.

Previously, the reality TV star had been relying on the help of both a walker and a wheelchair to get around, and was also previously reliant on an oxygen tank for years. Taking to Instagram, her sister Amy Slaton shared a series of images as they posed with friends on a girls' night out.

Now, the TV star was papped walking on her own while out and about in Indiana.

Naturally, fans have rushed to praise her.
