Tammy Slaton, one of the stars of TLC's hit show 1000lb Sisters, has opened up about her plans to learn how to drive after her dramatic weight loss.

Taking to TikTok to answer a fan comment that questioned whether or not Tammy would consider learning how to drive now that she can actually fit in the front seat of the car again, the social media star said that it could be a possibility in the future.

In a video response, the 37-year-old said: "I do want to learn eventually but right now, [my] anxiety is just a little too much. A lot going on, but baby steps.

"I have [driven] a golf cart but granted, it didn’t go too fast. But yes, eventually I do want to drive a car," she added.

Have a look at the video below:

The news comes just shortly after Tammy celebrated losing enough weight to sit in the front seat of a car and buckle her seatbelt, a milestone that was documented on her show 1000-Lb. Sisters as reported by PEOPLE.

The outlet also obtained an exclusive clip from the hit series which gave fans a closer look at the moment.

|We’re gonna try and put you in the front seat today, are you game?" Chris, her brother, asks.

"Yeah," she replies, clearly a little hesitant. "I’m just not sure if I’ll be able to... fit between the door and the console."

"The last time I sat in the front, it’s probably been 15 or 20 years. But I’m willing to try and see how it goes," she adds.

The pair walk outside and Tammy is thrilled to realize that she can now fit into the car and close the door fully without too much hassle.

"I did it!" she says, grinning from ear-to-ear.

"When Tammy actually realizes that she sat down in the chair and she's good to go and the door can close, you can tell the little battle that she just beat made her feel wonderful, 'cause even at 16 she couldn't sit in the front seat buckled up," Chris later says in a video confessional in the clip. "And now it's on like Grey Poupon, baby!"

Tammy also adds: "Sitting in the front seat, It's like a whole new world. You're experiencing everything from a different point of view. Instead of being the second person to see stuff, you're the first person."

At this rate, Tammy will be driving her own car in no time!

The reality TV star has dropped over 400 lbs after undergoing a bariatric surgery in July 2022. From weighing over 700lbs, Tammy now comes in at 285 lbs.

Speaking to PEOPLE in an interview, she opened up about the small luxuries of her transformation.

"One of the big changes that I have gone through this past year is probably small to most people, but for me it's huge," she started.

"Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don't even sleep with it at night anymore," she continued. "Then it was being able to fit in a regular vehicle, front seat, and then the belt buckle, and not have to use an extender now.

"So I mean, just what seems minor to some people is giant for me," she added.

Tammy is still not finished yet, but her progress has been immense and with the support of her fans, who have been extremely vocal about their love for the star across all her social media platforms, she'll be at her desired body weight very soon.
