Adriana Chechik has revealed she broke her back after jumping into a foam pit at TwitchCon in San Diego on Saturday.

Chechik, a popular Twitch streamer, was in attendance at the event, footage of which shows the end of a foam sword fight between Chechik and gaming streamer, EdyBot.

EdyBot fell into the pit, meaning Chechik was the victor. She celebrated the win by leaping into the air off a little podium, doing the splits, before landing on her tailbone. Following the stunt, she can be seen writhing in apparent agony as she tries and fails to exit.

An announcer then makes a request for medical assistance for the 30-year-old x-rated performer. "Make sure she is okay. Get her out of the pit," the announcer is heard saying, with another joking: "No, she lives in the pit now."

Check out the video below:

Needless to say, plenty of people began weighing in on the incident when footage of it was shared online.

One person remarked: "Jesus that could be a fat lawsuit That pit's flooring was wayyyy too shallow. What even is the point of the foam blocks if it's just 1 or 2 layers of blocks from the hard ground?"

Another said: "Holy f***, as someone who's Dad and Sister both suffered from broken backs, I so hope she's ok, that looked PAINFULL! [sic]"

A third commented: "I was a gymnast for 14 years and have experienced 'new foam' in foam pits many times. That should not be happening. If anything the foam should be so soft that you slip through it making it difficult to get out of. I’ve never seen anything like that. Wishing her the best."

On Sunday, Chechik revealed the result of the disastrous stunt, writing: “Well, I broke my back in two places and am getting surgery to put a meter rod in for support today. Send your support. When it rains it pours and I am definitely feeling the rain right now.”

The adult star also posted a snap of herself lying on a hospital bed to her Instagram Stories, captioning the image: “I live here now.”
