It's been several months since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in a lavish, star-studded ceremony.
After a whirlwind romance in the early '00s, the celebrity couple rekindled their love for each other last summer.
But while Bennifer may have finally made it down the aisle to their happy ending, people have been no less curious to find out what JLo's former partner Alex Rodriguez thinks of them being married so soon after getting back together.
The former baseball star has so far stayed silent about his ex-fiancée's new husband. He and Lopez dated for four years, before officially calling off their engagement in April 2021.
However, the ex-New York Yankees player finally broke his silence on JLo's marriage in a recent appearance on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? Wallace took the opportunity during their chat to grill A-Rod on how quickly his ex moved on.
Wallace asked: "Honestly, does it bother you that within days after you broke up that she was back to seeing Ben Affleck, and that she ended up getting married to him, not you?"
Rodriguez responded: "With Jennifer, look, it was it was a good experience."
Check out what Rodriguez had to say at the 6:20 mark:He went on to wish the singer and her children - twins Max and Emme, who she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony - the best for the future, saying: "I wish her and the children, who are smart, and beautiful and wonderful — I wish them the very best."
When Wallace pushed him, asking "That's it?", Rodriguez responded simply: "That's it."
Since splitting from JLo, the 47-year-old MLB star dated 25-year-old fitness competitor Kathryn Padgett. However, after first being linked in January this year, People reported that the pair had called it quits last month.
Wallace went on to ask Rodriguez - who shares teenage daughters with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis - whether he thought he was still good husband material.
"In my 20s, early 30s, [I was] probably not the best," he admitted, adding: "I think I’m gonna make a wonderful partner or husband and father post-suspension because of the lessons learned of my biggest mistakes."
