After taking a hiatus last year, the Golden Globe awards returned to The Beverly Hilton in California on January 10 to showcase some of the industry's most renowned stars.

The incredible night saw icons such as Colin Farrell, Cate Blanchett, and Steven Spielberg take home awards for their work while new kids on the golden block, Austin Butler and Zendaya, also picked up their wins for Elvis and Euphoria respectively.

Angela Bassett made history with her win on Tuesday night, taking the victory for her performance as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, making it the first acting win for a Marvel Studios movie, while Jennifer Coolidge earned a few chuckles during her acceptance speech after being recognized for her supporting role in The White Lotus.

Apart from celebrating the best of what TV and film had to offer over the past year, the glitzy event also saw some iconic looks take center stage. From Anya Taylor-Joy's gorgeous pop of color to Jessica Chastain's glamorous silhouette piece, let's take a look at some of the 'fits that had us gagging for more.

The Last Night in Soho star stunned fans as she waltzed onto the red carpet in a satin Dior two-piece - a woman of grace and elegance. Her sleek hairdo matched the clean lines of her yellow ensemble perfectly.

Nominated for Hulu's Only Murders In the Building, Gomez made an appearance at the Golden Globes wearing a black Valentino gown with rich purple statement sleeves. Paired with a high ponytail and a nude lip, she really showed up.

Tyler James Williams

Finally, a man with some style at an awards show.

No simple black tuxes for Tyler James Williams as he was snapped rocking a cropped double-breasted blazer suit with matching ombre wide-leg pants. Not only did he wow fans with his outfit, but he also managed to secure himself a Golden Globe win, taking the victory for best supporting actor in a TV series.

Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie is the definition of pretty in pink. The Babylon star was seen donning a Chanel Couture halter neck dress with a rough trim tulle hem - a stunning red carpet look, if I do say so myself.

Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain took on a glamorous look for this year's award show, stunning fans in a gorgeous spiderweb-esque gown by Oscar de la Renta. Her hair was pulled back in a sleek bun and her make-up was kept simple, giving the dress all the attention it deserves.

Ana de Armas

Ana de Armas has become a hot talking point online, not just for her talent, but also for her incredible ability to make anything look nice. Dressed in a strapless statement Louis Vuitton gown, the Knives Out actress had us all in a chokehold.

Letitia Wright

Wakanda Forever star Letitia Wright graced the red carpet in this gorgeously vibrant Prada gown - a risky choice, because it's a difficult piece to control, but who else could make it look this good?

Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams really turned heads at the award show ceremony with this incredibly stunning dress by Gucci. According to Vogue, considering the absence of its former creative director, Alessandro Michele, Gucci generally made a sizeable impact on the red carpet and Williams is just one example of that.

Jenna Ortega

Giving her iconic gothic Wednesday look a break for a night, Ortega wowed us all in a wispy Gucci number. While this look received a mixed reaction from fans, I'm all for it. It's giving the same vibe as Jennifer Lopez during the 42nd Grammy Awards ceremony back in 2000.

Barry Keoghan

And finally, we have the only other man besides Tyler James Williams to make it onto this coveted list: Ladies and gentlemen, Barry Keoghan. Nominated for best supporting actor for The Banshees of Inisherin, Keoghan turned up to the ceremony sporting a double-breasted suit with a matching necktie - a nice touch.

While the shoes really aren't doing much for the look, the actor managed to sneak onto the list just with his sheer confidence to pull off a baby blue suit.
