Amber Heard sobbed as she told the courtroom her alleged account of sexual assault by Johnny Depp on her second day on the stand.

Heard, 36, is currently involved in a defamation lawsuit that Depp, 58, brought against her. The Fantastic Beasts star is arguing that Heard defamed him because of a 2018 op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post, in which she spoke about her experience with domestic abuse.

She didn't name him in the op-ed, but he claims it falsely implies he abused her. The Pirates of the Caribbean star is suing Heard for $50 million and the Aquaman star is countersuing him for $100 million.

The trial began on April 11 and is taking place in Fairfax, Virginia.

Per The Independent, the actress took the stand on Thursday and recounted a fight she'd had in Australia in March 2015 with her ex-husband, who she claims sexually assaulted her with a liquor bottle.

Heard shared a series of alleged accounts of abuse such as Depp "backhanding" her because she grabbed an alcohol bottle and said that he later used a "broken bottle against her face". She also added that "he was throwing" bottles in her direction.

She said: “I’ve never been so scared in my entire life" and recalled how Depp purportedly got on top of her, after which she tried to tell him that he was "really hurting me".

Heard continued: “I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t get through to him, I couldn’t get up... I don’t know what happened next,” claiming he went on to sexually assault her with a bottle.

“I could feel this pressure on my pubic bone,” she continued, saying that it “looked like” Depp was “punching” her, adding that there were “broken bottles, broken glass” all over the room.

Heard recalled thinking, "I hope it's not broken," in reference to the bottle she says was inside her. She said the actor "had the bottle inside of me and was shoving [it] inside of me over and over again".

Sobbing, Heard resumed: "I convinced myself that the bottle wasn't broken or it would be a lot worse."

The Rum Diary star stated that during the notorious Australia incident Depp lost “a ton of weight" so she "knew something was up".

“The first night... when he shoved me, I went skidding across the floors ... it was so easy for him to throw me around like that,” she said.

The actress also claimed that her former husband grabbed her neck and smashed her head against the wall. She added that she slept behind a barricaded door and took sleeping pills to fall asleep. However, when she woke, Depp was still up.

Heard later recounted an alleged argument they had about drugs in which she said: "He took a handful of pills ... either eight or 10 pills ... of MDMA".

The Pineapple Express star also said her then-husband accused her of not liking his sister and was upset about the actors she was working with such as Eddie Redmayne in The Danish Girl and James Franco.

Circling back to the March 2015 incident, the actress recalled a conversation with her ex-husband in which he used the phrase "the only way out of this is death" 25 times, about their relationship.

In the following fight, Heard said Depp slammed her “hard” against the walls. She said: "He has me up against the wall, he slams me hard, I hit my head hard. This is the wall next to the kitchenette. There were these fridges and I remember being slammed up against those. I remember pushing him off of me. The name calling, the wh***, the s***, the fat a**."

She added that he would drink in front of her “as a show of force” and claimed that everyone around him "warned him about her" and that "nobody" liked her.

Heard said she shoved him off of her, and that he responded, “you wanna go, little girl?” and proceeded to shove her into a games table and kept “whacking” her face.
