Anne Heche is reportedly under investigation for a felony DUI after crashing her car into a Los Angeles home.
The 53-year-old Donnie Brasco star is "currently in stable condition" after a vehicle and a home collision occurred in the neighborhood of Mar Vista on Friday (August 5), per The Independent.
Heche reportedly sustained severe burns after driving a blue Mini Cooper that crashed into the property of a woman named Lynne Mishele on South Walgrove Avenue, causing the house to go up in flames.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department has now escalated their investigation to a felony after a passerby claimed that she was hurt and needed medical help after the accident.

The new development emerged after Page Six reported on Monday (August 8) that law enforcement received a warrant to test Heche's blood to see if she was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time of the accident.
LAPD believes that the Six Days, Seven Nights actress was intoxicated when the accident happened, saying: "The info we received this morning was a warrant obtained the same day as the traffic collision, which was August 5."
"The warrant was to draw blood, and an investigation is ongoing pending the blood test results," an official told the publication.
"If found intoxicated, [Heche] could be charged with misdemeanor DUI hit and run. No arrests have been made so far," they added.

Mishele's neighbor, Lynne Bernstein, was interviewed by People magazine and said that the homeowner was "extremely fortunate" to escape unharmed with her pets as she was in another area of the house at the time of the incident.
Following the collision, Mishele's neighbors, John and Jennifer Durand, have set up a GoFundMe to help her with the aftermath of her destroyed house - which has also been "red-tagged" by officials and deemed unsafe for use.
The fundraiser has now passed the $100,000 mark - with $132,050 raised as of this writing - which would help her with her home organization business, Creative Organization.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, it took 59 firefighters around 65 minutes to stop the flame and remove the Spread actress from the driver's seat.
TMZ reported that a witness allegedly saw Heche’s car crash into the garage of an apartment building in the neighborhood before it smashed into Mishele's home on the west side of the city.
