A BBC correspondent has been forced to remove a raunchy fundraising video that featured her pretending to have sex with her boyfriend.
BBC Ireland correspondent Emma Vardy, 39, and her amateur footballer boyfriend Aaron Adams filmed themselves simulating sex as part of the video which featured others lip-synching to the classic Queen song 'I Want To Break Free'.

It was filmed by Adams' soccer club to raise money for NHS Charities Together's COVID-19 appeal.
But after bosses at the BBC got wind of the video, however, an email was sent to staff reminding them about social media use and social distancing guidelines, the Daily Mail reports.
In the video, Vardy lipsyncs "I want to break free" while being beneath Adams.

The completed video was posted on Adams' Twitter and the football club's Facebook page. It was captioned: "So here it is. Four weeks of lockdown... no football... and this is what happens."
But while the clip may have been made with the best of intentions, bosses at the BBC did not see the funny side of it.
The video was then hastily edited to remove the raunchy scene and the updated version was posted to social media instead. Vardy no longer appears in the spoof music video.

The charity video was intended to raise £500 for frontline workers on the NHS, and per the Daily Mail, on April 27, £300 ($373 USD) had already been raised by the toned-down version of the video.
A BBC spokesperson said: "This was intended to be light-hearted, but Emma accepts it was inappropriate and has removed the clip."
Controversial clip aside, Vardy is a respected journalist who made a name for herself by tackling politicians with links to the New Irish Republican Army (IRA).
Vardy has been the BBC's News' Ireland Correspondent since March 2018. Meanwhile, Adams is a member of the amateur football team the Belfast Ravens.
