Bebe Rexha has shared an honest update with her loyal fans on her personal struggles over her body image.

The singer, 32, emotionally opened up about how recent weight gain is impacting her confidence in a video shared on TikTok.

In the clip, captioned "Honest update," she began by acknowledging that it is the holiday season and she is supposed to be "merry", but admitted that she hadn't been feeling good in her body recently, despite being known for body-positivity activism.

Rexha went on to admit that she is struggling because she thinks she is the "heaviest" weight she's ever been.

"I weighed myself just now and I don't feel comfortable sharing the weight because I feel embarrassed," the 'I Got You' hitmaker said as she teared up.

"I just feel disgusting, you know, like in my own body," she went on. "I haven't been posting as much because I don't feel good in my skin. And when I don't feel good, I don't want to post."

"All the body positivity that stems from me is probably a place of hurt and confusion of, like, I don't know, like, how to help myself anymore or how to love myself," she added.

It wasn't long before her post was flooded with messages of love and support from her fans on social media.

"Your worth is more than any number can define! You got this," wrote one fan.

Another added: "My heart breaks for you hearing you talk about this. Here for you and so many women are! You are beautiful and incredible. We hear you!"

While a third wrote: "It's really ok!! We all feel this way right now. Give yourself a break. You are real and beautiful and loved," before another chimed in, writing: "You are beautiful but it isn’t how we see you, it is how you see yourself.

"Remember that beauty comes from within and you have a heart of an angel."

The clip was a far cry from the TikTok video she shared just six months ago when she modeled lingerie and proudly revealed that she weighed 165 pounds.

Strutting in front of the camera, the Albanian-American singer asked her fans: "How much do you think I weigh?"

In another caption, she adds: "No one's business. Cause I'm a bad b**** no matter what my weight."

"But let's normalize 165 lbs," she added at the end of the video, which she captioned simply, "Feeling like a bad b**** today."
