Ben Shapiro has filmed himself setting fire to Barbie dolls to protest the new "woke" blockbuster hit.

Greta Gerwig's highly anticipated movie about the famous Mattel dolls - Barbie and Ken - hit theaters all over the world on July 21 with an absolutely stacked cast of stars.

The all-star cast includes Margot Robbie as the titular character, Ryan Gosling as Ken along with Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon, Ncuti Gatwa, Michael Cera, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Dua Lipa, and John Cena.

Released just two days ago, Barbie has been praised by reviewers and moviegoers as it brings to life the beloved doll in a delightful and empowering animated adventure that enchanted audiences of all ages.

However, not everyone was impressed with the movie, especially Ben Shapiro.

In a strange 43-minute-long rant on YouTube, the 39-year-old conservative political commentator tried to spark protests against the PG-13-rated film.

Claiming to have been "dragged" to theaters by producers, Shapiro considered Barbie to be "one of the most woke movies I have ever seen," and goes on to explain that he was upset by Ken's "annoying and ridiculous" portrayal and its inclusion of a trans woman, as cited by Daily Beasts.

He also stated that Gerwig's directional flick was "explicitly designed to divide men from women," describing it as "angry feminist claptrap that alienates men from women."

Of course, the controversial commentator's review was not finished without theatrics as he also featured a bizarre segment in which he set a Barbie and Ken doll on fire.

Now social media users have responded to Shapiro and are roasting his antics. One person wrote: "So to be clear, he hates the movie so much, he went to see it and then bought a bunch of dolls to burn them? How much money has he spent on hating Barbie?"

Another said: "Awe, Ben burned his Barbies. Most people that have Barbies get rid of them at a much younger age than he is now. Glad he was able to finally let go of them."

Someone else chimed in: "A grown man burning Barbies genuinely thinking he looks cool,,, oh that’s,,, that’s so sad."

A fourth user quipped: "Congrats, he made himself 5 years old and became Sid from Toy Story."

Despite Shaprio's protest, Barbie is estimated to amass $300 million internationally, which will see it earn the most successful opening of an original non-superhero film ever, per The Independent.

Robbie predicted the massive forecast about the film - which had a $145 million budget - telling Collider: "I think I told them that it'd make a billion dollars, which maybe I was overselling, but we had a movie to make, okay?!"

The 33-year-old Australian star also told the publication that she noted the success of Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park when she made a pitch to Mattel and Warner Bros.

"I think my pitch in the green-light meeting was the studios have prospered so much when they’re brave enough to pair a big idea with a visionary director," Robbie said.

"And then I gave a series of examples like, 'dinosaurs and [Steven] Spielberg,' that and that, that and that - pretty much-naming anything that’s been incredible and made a ton of money for the studios over the years," she continued. "And I was like, 'And now you’ve got Barbie and Greta Gerwig.'"
