Ben Stiller has shared his thoughts on why Pete Davidson is so popular with the ladies.

The 28-year-old SNL comedian has been linked to mom-of-four Kim Kardashian, 41, since October last year – with their romance intensifying in recent months.

In fact, the rumored romance has sparked a flame of jealousy from Kim's estranged husband Kanye West, 44, who has been battling to win back his wife since they split last year.

Watch Ben Stiller open up about Pete Davidson's allure to women:

Now, the Night in the Museum star, 56, has weighed in on what he thinks makes Davidson so undeniably irresistible to women.

Appearing on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, February 23, Stiller was asked why "these women can't stay away from" Davidson, 28.

Davidson has had a string of high-profile romances, with stars such as Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Phoebe Dynevor, and Kaia Gerber. He was also engaged to pop star Ariana Grande.

Stiller started off by calling Davidson "an incredibly sweet guy," going on to say that "he's so personable. He's got such a charisma. He's funny, he's really funny, but he has become really famous, I think, for-" Stern, 68, then cut in, saying, "Dating!"

"Yes," Stiller said. "And being on [SNL]."

"I get the sense that he's a guy who really loves to work, who cares about his work," the Meet the Fockers actor continued. "And that's how he's going to be known. He's got a lot of great work ahead of him too."

"It's not that easy to just be that funny and interesting and likable," he remarked of Davidson. "He's really taking his life and he's turning it into material."

Of Davidson's popularity, Stiller chalked it up to his "charm."

"People were attracted to watching him on the show, and he just has a real charm about him," he said. "I think he really wants to act, and he's making movies and taking roles on that are real acting roles."

It comes as Davidson opened up about his own allure to women, jokingly calling himself a "diamond in the trash".

Davidson was on stage in New York last month performing stand-up at a benefit concert for late comedian Patrice O'Neal who died back in 2011.

"There seems to be a curiosity about me, is what my friends tell me," he told the crowd. "I was trying to figure out how to explain myself to someone because I was doing an interview."

Watch Emily Ratajkowski share why Pete Davidson is so popular with women:

Davidson decided to compare himself to the $5 bin at a store like Best Buy, in which consumers can find hidden-gem DVDs such as Predator or Tropic Thunder.

The stand-up comedian argued that the latter movie was a "classic" that "doesn't belong in the trash" — and said that description applies to him as well.

"I'm Tropic Thunder. I'm the diamond in the trash," he quipped. "It's a steal."
