Billie Eilish has stated that she believes "men are very weak".
The 19-year-old singer made the comment during an interview with British Vogue as she graced the magazine's June 2021 cover.
The multi-Grammy award winner told the magazine she refuses to align herself with the media's interpretation of the 'perfect wife'.
Eilish called out the stereotypical ideal of 'falling for a classic hot girl and then making her undergo a personality transplant'.
She told the magazine:
"Everybody’s like, 'you can't make a wife out of a h*e' – and it's like, you’re attracted to that person, though. You created that person. Suddenly you’re a hypocrite if you want to show your skin, and you’re easy and you’re a sl** and you’re a w****. If I am, then I’m proud.
"Let’s turn it around and be empowered in that. Showing your body and showing your skin – or not – should not take any respect away from you.
"I really think the bottom line is, men are very weak. I think it’s just so easy for them to lose it. 'You expect a dude not to grab you if you’re wearing that dress?' Seriously, you're that weak? Come on!"
Eilish also opened up about her latest song, titled 'Your Power', which she describes as "an open letter to people who take advantage – mostly men".
The 'Bad Guy' hitmaker admitted that sexual exploitation of minors is "everywhere", and is something that happens all around the world.
Eilish explained the story behind the hit, which highlights an abusive relationship between a minor and an older person.
Eilish told the publication: "[The song] isn't about a single person. You may think it's because she works in the music industry, but that's not the case. It's all over. I don't know a single girl or woman who hasn’t had a strange or unpleasant experience. And men, too – young boys are constantly exploited."
The singer added that "it doesn't matter who you are [...] you can still be exploited".
Per the Daily Mail, Eilish's bombshell cover broke an Instagram record as it reached one million likes in just six minutes - a record that comfortably makes her post the fastest to do so in the social media platform's history.
