Billy Baldwin has fiercely responded to Sharon Stone's claims that producer Robert Evans demanded that she sleep with the actor to help their onscreen chemistry.

The 66-year-old Oscar-nominated actress has a remarkable career spanning over four decades, starring in over 100 acting credits in film and television.

Back in 1992, Stone landed a breakthrough role after portraying a murder suspect in the blockbuster, Basic Instinct. Despite the controversy surrounding the infamous scene, she earned her first Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama.

Sharon Stone spills the tea during her appearance on The Louis Theroux Podcast:

The following year, the Hollywood star starred in Sliver (1993) as Carly, a successful book editor who, after moving into a luxury apartment building, finds out that several female tenants have been murdered. The Phillip Noyce directional saw Stone become romantically involved with the prime suspect (played by Baldwin).

More than 30 years after starring in the mystery thriller, the Basic Instinct actress is recalling unhappy memories about making the movie.

In an appearance on The Louis Theroux Podcast, Stone named former Paramount Pictures chief Robert Evans - who passed away in 2019 - as the producer who pressured her to have sex with her now-61-year-old co-star to improve his performance.

Stone first wrote about the incident in her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, but declined to name the alleged producer. That changed this week, as she opened up about her time on the movie set in her interview with Theroux.

Recalling the moment, the Casino star said she "should’ve been on set" but was told to meet Evans in his office to discuss her chemistry with Baldwin.

"[Evan’s] running around his office in his sunglasses, explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better," she remembered, per Rolling Stone. "And we needed Billy to get better in the movie because that was the problem."

Explaining Evan’s logic, she said: "If I could sleep with Billy, then we would have chemistry on-screen, and if I would just have sex with him then that would save the movie."

"And the real problem in the movie was me because I was so uptight, and so not like a real actress, who could just f*** him and get things back on track. And the real problem is that I was such a tight a**," she added.

Stone contended that she did not have the same problem with Michael Douglas, who she starred alongside in Basic Instinct the year before Sliver’s release.

"I didn’t have to f*** Michael Douglas. Michael could come to work and know how to hit those marks, and do that line, and rehearse and show up. Now all of a sudden I’m in the 'I have to f*** people' business," she said.

After seeing the comments, the actor - who is the brother of Alec Baldwin - took to X to unleash a furious tirade against Stone's allegations, alleging that he implored the producer to choreograph a sex scene so that he did not have to kiss Stone.

"Not sure why Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later?" Baldwin said. "Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances? Did she say to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York… 'I'm gonna make him fall so hard for me, it's gonna make his head spin.' ???"

"I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I’ve kept quiet," he continued. "The story of the meeting I had with Bob Evans imploring him allow me to choreograph the final sex scene in the photo below so I wouldn’t have to kiss Sharon is absolute legend."

"Wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky, and unprofessional tales about Sharon? That might be fun," he concluded.

Stone has not yet responded to Baldwin.
