Blake Lively has hilariously trolled a soccer fan as she attended a match at her husband's soccer team in Wales.

It's well known that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have a great relationship as they constantly poke fun at each other on social media - but that doesn't mean that all that banter is restricted to just the two of them.

Lively and Reynolds met on the set of Green Lantern in 2010 but were both seeing other people at the time. When they both found themselves to be single in 2011 they began dating and secretly wed in 2012.

Reynolds has displayed his keen business acumen of late, and one of his ventures included buying the Welsh soccer team Wrexham Association Football Club.

Alongside TV star Rob McElhenney, the purchase of Wrexham FC was the subject of a documentary on Disney+ which saw the two actors invest heavily into both the soccer club and the community that surrounds it.

Over the weekend Lively attended a game and watched Wrexham beat York City three goals to nothing, but it wasn't the one-sided scoreline that got people talking.

During the game, a fan in the stands noticed Lively and called out to her and got her attention before asking for the Gossip Girl star to shout out to his girlfriend Stephanie.

Lively seemed more than happy to oblige the request but in her own way. "Hi, Stephanie," the actress began, before pointing at the fan behind the camera and saying: "You should leave him!"

This was met with great laughter from those who heard it, much to the embarrassment of the fan. Lively poked even more fun at what she said by gasping and loudly shouting: "What!"

Sam, the fan who was left red-faced, saw the funny side as his caption explained that Stephanie was overjoyed at the unorthodox shoutout.

"Stephs cried happiness and she’s absolutely over the moon [...] Luckily she hasn’t broke up with me! thanks again," Sam wrote on Twitter.

Last month Lively and Reynolds welcomed a new member to their family after she posted an image of herself before the Super Bowl without her baby bump.

Lively has spoken openly in the past about raising a child with Reynolds during a 2016 interview with Marie Claire.

"Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had," she said. "We don't ever want to rob them of what we had, because we'd feel really selfish," she explained.

Speaking to LinkedIn News Senior Editor at Large Jessi Hempel, Reynolds explained why spending time with his family is important to him.

"The biggest thing for me, and I know you have kids as well, is that I don't want to miss this time with my kids," he began.

While adding that he took a hiatus from Hollywood to spend time with his children, Reynolds said: "I want my kids to have a pretty normal schedule. For many years when my wife Blake would shoot a film, I would not shoot a film and I would be with the kids and vice versa.

"So we would sort of trade-off. We never really worked at the same time. But always we were away. So the kids were away too."

Here's hoping Stephanie doesn't take Lively's advice on this occasion!
