Brad Pitt was seen sporting a pleated skirt at the premiere of his latest film, Bullet Train.
The 58-year-old actor donned a brown cardigan with a knee-length skirt for his eye-catching style choice at the screening of his new film in Berlin, Germany, on Tuesday (July 19).
The Fight Club star also matched the look with his trademark blond locks, a dusty rose button-up shirt, pendant accessories, and sunglasses.
Pitt then completed the outfit with combat boots - which gave people a rare peek at his shin tattoos which appear to be a rhinoceros face and a human skull.
According to British Vogue, in 2004 during the promotion of his film Troy, Pitt once said that he expected that more men would add skirts to their wardrobe collection.
"Men will be wearing skirts by next summer," he said at the time, per the publication. "That's my prediction and proclamation. The film answers to both genders. We were going for realism and Greeks wore skirts all the time then."
Also, in an interview with Esquire last year, the Once Upon A Time star stated that getting "older" and "crankier" has changed the way he feels about the clothes that he wears.
"You get older, you get crankier, and comfort becomes more important. I think it’s as simple as that," he said. "If I have a style, it’s no style," before saying that he prefers high-quality stitching and tries to understand the way clothes make him feel.
"I like monochrome, without it being a uniform. I like simplicity. I like the details in the stitching, [and] the way it feels. If anything, that’s the only divining rod I have," he added.
The Oscar-winning actor also revealed in the same interview that his fashion is now "led by comfort" and quality, rather than trends.
"It’s those details that are important to me. It’s too exhausting to follow trends. And I despise billboards; I just don’t want to be a billboard," he added.
Pitt's latest movie is the story of five assassins who find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka - only to discover that their assignments are not detached from each other.
The star-studded cast also features Joey King, Andrew Koji, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Brian Tyree Henry and will be available to watch in theaters from August 3.
