Well, Nicki Minaj said it best when she rapped: "Sagittarius so you know I'm an optimist." Evidently, Brooklyn Beckham, who is a Pisces, didn't have much optimism when he told Bustle his zodiac sign has prevented him from following in the footsteps of his famous father.

The 23-year-old - who recently wed heiress Nicola Peltz in April - spoke to the outlet about his life and growing passion for cooking. In fact, the self-proclaimed chef has even launched his own cooking show on Facebook messenger called Cookin' With Brooklyn.

Though, the eldest Beckham child hasn't always been a chef - he had once wanted to follow in his father David Beckham's footsteps, playing midfielder for Arsenal FC's academy (which gives promising athletes the tools needed to advance to playing professional soccer). At 15, he quit the academy, saying that his anxiety and zodiac sign were to blame.

"I have a lot of anxiety," he told Bustle, "And to try and live up to what my dad did, it was just like, it got to the point where I was just, like, I really just want to make my own name for myself and work my arse off. I'm a Pisces. Sensitive."

And try to make a name for himself he did - though, with a surname like Beckham, that's gotta be hard. As a teen, he dabbled in photography and at the age of 16 he even shot a Burberry fragrance campaign and the following year released a coffee table book with Rizzoli... two significant gigs that most aspiring photographers could only dream of booking.

Brooklyn subsequently enrolled in the prestigious Parsons School of Design to continue studying his love of photography, before dropping out after one year. Yes, after all of that promise, the London-born influencer apparently "didn't love photography enough to make it his life."

From there, Brooklyn turned to cooking, receiving numerous career-boosting opportunities including the Facebook Messenger series (much to the internet's frustration). Though, he did tell the outlet: "I'm not a professional chef - at all. I've never said that. I never would say that. Obviously, my dad knew what he was doing at a very young age. I've only been doing cooking for not even three years. It's OK to be 25, 26 or even 30 and not know what you're doing yet. You know what I mean?"

Well, I don't know about you, but it seems Brooklyn just can't get a break. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
