Luke Mcfarlane and his partner have recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl.
The star, who is best known for his role in the 2022 rom-com Bros, announced that he's now officially a dad after taking to Instagram to introduce the little one to his 217,000 followers.
The post consisted of a carousel of adorable photos and videos of the actor with his newborn at the hospital and then at home.
Have a look below:The first snapshot shows Mcfarlane sitting at the hospital holding his daughter while looking down lovingly at her, while the second is a video of him carrying her down a hallway alongside his partner Hig Roberts, who drapes an arm around him.
The third shows the baby's hands wrapped around one of Roberts' fingers and the fourth and fifth photos are two more adorable snaps of Mcfarlane spending some quality time with his little girl.
Alongside the adorable pictures, the 43-year-old revealed her name in the caption: Tess Eleanor Macfarlane— Born June 4th 2023. We started life with some hectic days and received world class care."
He continued: "On Father’s Day we got to take her home. Her Dads can’t wait to introduce her to all the remarkable people and the beautiful world we live in."
Since it was published less than a day ago, the post has received over 66,000 likes as well as thousands of comments from friends and fans alike who congratulated the actor and the alpine skier on becoming parents.
"Congrats," wrote one user while another added: "Luuuuke!! You were made for this. I’m so so happy for you."
Fellow actor Ali Sweeney also left a kind message commenting: "This is incredible news!! I am SO happy for all three of you!!!!!! Congrats," with three applauding emojis.
Former pro football player Colton Underwood added red heart emojis to show his happiness about the news.
And just to add the cherry on top of the already joyous situation, Macfarlane's Bros co-star, Billy Eichner, also reacted to the post with a simple series of heart emojis - a wholesome moment for fans of the 2022 flick.
This marks a momentous occasion for Mcfarlane and Roberts, coming just three years after the athlete came out as gay.
Speaking to Out in an interview, Roberts opened up about the significance of him being open about his sexual identity.
"I didn’t know what gay was in terms of how that could exist in the spaces I loved and the spaces I found myself, which was sports," he told the outlet. "I was not sure if what I was feeling was matching up with the way I was perceiving gayness at that time, which was obviously a wrong [depiction]. That’s a big reason for me speaking up as an athlete.
"As athletes, the visibility for LGBTQ+ people has been very quiet. There hasn’t been a lot of representation in the space, especially in alpine skiing, a very masculine, aggressive, strength-based sport," he added.
