Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer has shared a sweet photo of her newborn baby girl alongside her grandfather.
Earlier this year, 68-year-old Willis' eldest child Rumer - whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore, 60 - gave birth to a baby girl named Louetta Isley Thomas Willis.
The 34-year-old actress and boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas revealed that their baby girl was born through homebirth on April 18. The pair shared an adorable photo of the newborn napping peacefully on a crocheted blanket.
In the caption, the couple wrote: "Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. You are pure magic. Born at home on Tuesday, April 18th. You are more than we ever dreamed of."
To celebrate Father's Day over the weekend, Rumer took to Instagram once again to post a sweet image of her gorgeous daughter, this time in the arms of her famous grandfather. In the caption, the House Bunny actress wrote: "Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful.
"Papa I'm so lucky to have you and so is Lou," she added, "Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game…."
The new mom told her Instagram followers about her pregnancy last December by sharing a series of black and white photos of Derek embracing her bump.
Louetta marks the first grandchild for Willis and Moore, who have remained close following their divorce in 2000.
As well as Rumer, the pair share daughters Tallulah, 29, and Scout, 31, while the Sixth Sense icon is also father to Evelyn, eight, and Mabel, 11, with his 44-year-old wife.
The blended family has faced some challenging times, after Willis was diagnosed with aphasia last year, and had to take time out of Hollywood to work on his recovery.
In February, they shared a joint statement explaining that his health issues had worsened, and he had been living with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
"Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce's original diagnosis," they wrote at the time. "In the spirit of that, we wanted to give you an update about our beloved husband, father, and friend since we now have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing."
The family continued: "Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce's condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis."
