Caitlyn Jenner has doubled down on her stance against transgender women being able to compete in women's sports.
Jenner, who won a gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal before transitioning, this week said she believes it's unfair for transgender swimmer Lia Thomas to compete in the women's category.
Thomas, 22, competed for the men's swimming team at the University of Pennsylvania for three years before switching to compete for the women's team in 2020 after transitioning.

She has since broken a number of US women's swimming records, including the 200-meter and 500-meter freestyle records at the Zippy Invitational Event in Akron, Ohio.
In the 500-meter freestyle in December, Thomas finished 14 seconds faster than the second-placed swimmer.
Appearing on The Chris Salcedo Show, Jenner doubled down on her firm stance about the topic.
"It's very disappointing. From the beginning, I've said that biological boys should not compete against women in women's sports," she said.
Jenner continued: "We have to protect women's sports. Look at women's sports, look at how much they've done over the last 30 years with Title 9 and working for equality. And now all of a sudden we are giving it away.
"Lia Thomas went through male puberty, has a bigger cardiovascular system, respiratory system, bigger hands, bigger bone structure, and has a definite advantage when it comes to swimming, and you see that in the pool. Some races she's even won by two laps."
Jenner then went on to slam NCAA for allowing Thomas to compete against other women.
"I'm into protecting women's sports, and I am very disappointed with the NCAA, they kind of just kicked the can down the road," Jenner added.
"Look, I transitioned later on in life, I know about hormones. I play golf a lot, and I still have the same length arms, I'm 6'1", I can still hit the ball a mile. Even being off testosterone and on estrogen for seven years now, I still have a big advantage especially over the women," she added.
And when asked if she would ever compete in a women's category at her own golf club, Jenner said she "would feel bad taking a trophy away from one of the ladies".
When asked about having a transgender category in sports, Jenner said: "The problem with that is that there are not enough trans people to have a race. Obviously, we are getting more trans people out that are transitioning at a much younger age today."
She went on: "I think the internet and social media have changed that. Young kids who are struggling with their identity can get so much information at a very young age.
"This is happening we are getting more trans people to come out earlier in life, but to be honest with you there are just not enough trans people to even have a meet."
"The bottom line is, we have to protect women's sports," she added.
