Caitlyn Jenner has slammed the Beverly Hills Hotel after they refused to serve her because of her ripped jeans.

The reality star hoped to dine at the hotel's restaurant, Polo Lounge, but to her outrage, she was denied entrance because of a small tear in her jeans that she was told did not comply with their dress code.

Venting on Instagram, the former Olympian posted a picture of the offending trousers along with an angry message.

Taking to her Instagram story, Jenner fumed: "@bevhillshotel f*** your horrible service for not letting me have lunch with this tiny rip in my jeans. Shame on you. Disgusting.

"I have been a patron for decades. No longer," she added, tagging the hotel's parent company The Dorchester Collection.

The Polo Lounge is part of the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel. Full of Hollywood history, the bar and restaurant have recently been re-designed and become a hot-spot for diners.

Dress code details can be found on their website, which reads: "At the Polo Lounge, we encourage you to dress for the occasion, so we ask that you refrain from wearing casual hats, ripped denim, crop tops, nightwear, swimwear, and men's sleeveless shirt."

Shortly after posting her complaint on Instagram, Jenner reposted a TMZ story about the incident. She circled where they had quoted Polo Lounge's dress code and written: "Interesting it says 'we encourage'... so it doesn't say it's a mandatory dress code."

A source close to Jenner gave TMZ some more background about why she was so angry. According to them, being refused entrance really caught Jenner off guard - especially since she was dressed up in full hair and make-up.

What's more, the source says that staff wasn't enforcing the restaurant's "no photos" policy as Jenner was taking pictures with fans. However, they decided to refuse service to her because of her distressed denim trousers.

The Beverly Hills Hotel's no photography policy can be found on its website, which reads: "For the privacy of our guests, we ask that you refrain from taking photographs."
