Candace Cameron Bure has broken her silence after JoJo Siwa called her the "rudest celebrity" she'd ever met.

Full House star and devout Christian Bure, 46, seems to have combated the allegations by turning to her faith.

The 64-year-old actor took to her Instagram story on Monday to share a bible verse, writing: "trust the Lord always."

The full verse from Isaiah 26:4 reads: "Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock."

It is unconfirmed whether the verse was directed at Siwa - or whether Bure is aware that the 19-year-old Dance Moms star has branded her as rude.

Siwa went viral on Sunday when she posted a TikTok revealing who her "celebrity crush" was, as well as the "nicest celebrity" she'd ever met and the "rudest celebrity" she'd ever met.

While the young star honored Zendaya and Miley Cyrus with the titles of "celebrity crush" and "nicest celebrity" respectively, she outed Bure as the "rudest".

Ever since she shared the video, speculation has been rife among Siwa's fans as to what Bure could have done to offend her.

Though it's uncertain when and where the two met, it's possible they crossed paths on the set of 'Dancing With The Stars'. Both competed in the celebrity dance competition, with Siwa finishing in second place on season 30 and Bure landing third place on season 18.

"We need a story time on candance Cameron," one fan commented on the video.

Many fans thought that it made perfect sense that Bure and Siwa hadn't gotten along, considering that Bure is a devout Christian and Siwa came out as gay last year.

"JoJo Siwa is queer, Candace Cameron Bure is deeply conservative. Not hard to believe," one person tweeted, while another wrote sarcastically: "You mean the open conservative in Hollywood was rude to a young gay icon?? Weird."

However, others called out Siwa for needlessly attacking Bure, branding her a hypocrite.

"I don't get why celebs do this unprovoked," one person tweeted, adding: "Like if you're gonna throw someone under the bus and you know headlines will be about it, are you really better?"
