Carol Burnett has proven age is just a number, less than a month before her milestone 90th birthday.

The 89-year-old actress, comedian, and singer is best known for hosting her own CBS comedy variety show The Carol Burnett Show from 1967-1978 - becoming an award-winning family staple, despite the fact that the network didn't initially believe a woman could successfully host a variety show.

A proud recipient of six Primetime Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, a Grammy Award, and seven Golden Globe Awards, it's clear that Burnett is an established figure in Hollywood.

In a new interview with People, the veteran actor joked that she still feels like a pre-pubescent teen, despite becoming a nonagenarian on April 26.

"I can't wrap my head around it. I still feel like I'm about 11, but I'm amazed. It sure went fast. But I'm glad because I've got all my parts - got my hips, I got my knees and I've got my brain, so I'm happy about that," Burnett said of her upcoming birthday celebrations.

According to the outlet, NBC is set to show a two-hour special on Burnett's 90th birthday - which will include conversations with various other actors and famous figures, including Amy Poehler, Steve Carell, and Cher.

Reminiscing on her childhood in Los Angeles, Burnett recalled: "I used to pretend to be on a radio show. I would yell out the window, 'Now ladies and gentlemen, we have a young girl who is going to sing here without any musical accompaniment.' One time, a man next door said, 'Will you turn that goddamn thing off?' And I thought, 'I'm a hit. They think it's real.'"

Though, it wasn't until college that she decided to pursue acting as a career, adding: "I was pretty much of a quiet student all through grammar school, junior high, and Hollywood High. I would kid around with my friends, the neighborhood kids, stuff like that. But I never really thought about it until I got to UCLA and I was in an acting class. A lot of the kids at the class were doing heavy, dramatic stuff and I thought, I can't do that. So I picked something light and they laughed. That's when the bug bit."

But Burnett still has a few things to add to her bucket list. In fact, during a 2013 Larry King interview, the actress was asked if she had anything she still wanted to check off her bucket list, at which point she simply replied: "George Clooney."

King then asked her: "Are there parts of your life you wished you"d been asked about more?"

"Well, you know, 'Is it true what's going on between you and George Clooney?' would be interesting," she quipped.

Sadly, Burnett will have to contend with Clooney's international human rights lawyer wife Amal. Watch this space!
