One branch of Burger King has had Christmas come early, after rapper 50 Cent gifted them more than $30,000 in cash.

50 Cent visited the fast-food restaurant in his old neighborhood of Southside Jamaica, Queens, alongside the entrepreneur Jay Mazini.

Mazini, who is known for making such generous gestures himself, later took to Instagram to share footage of the scene, and praised the 45-year-old In Da Club rapper for his kindness.

"ME & @50cent HAD TO SHUT BURGERKING DOWN IN SOUTHSIDE QUESNS [sic]," he captioned the post. "PASSED OVER 30K ME & @50cent TO THESE HARD WORKERS, DURING THIS PANDEMIC. FIF TOLD ME I REALLY LIKE WHAT YOU’RE DOING, I TOLD HIM IT’S GOOD KARMA AT THE END OF THE DAY BIG BRO!!! CHANGE LIVES & CONNECT WITH REAL ONES.. SOUTHSIDE QUEENS STAND UP!! YA DESERVE IT."

In the clip, Mazini can be seen walking up to the drive-thru window, and asking how many members of staff were on shift. After learning that there were 10 employees present, Mazini invited them all to come forward.

He then started handing out wads of cash to the overjoyed employees, who all looked visibly excited once 50 Cent walked over.

The rapper handed out more cash, as happy screams filled the store. One female employee told 50 Cent that it was her birthday, while another filmed the events in disbelief.

People on social media were quick to praise Mazini and 50 Cent for their act of kindness, with one Twitter user writing: "That video was so goddamn pure. Those Burger King employees seemed so fucking happy when they saw 50 Cent walk up to the window."

"Jay Mazini is the real deal, he saw me in the hood yesterday so we went tonight and showed everybody some love," the rapper has since written on Twitter.

This isn't the first time that Mazini has shown support to those less fortunate during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Footage uploaded to Instagram earlier this year showed him giving away $3,000 to a perfect stranger in a supermarket.
