During lockdown, the struggle to maintain increasingly unruly locks was real for many of us.
As the weeks slid past and our hair kept growing out in improbably directions, seemingly without any rhyme or reason, it became clear that, should the hairdressers and barbers remain closed for any length of time, we would have to take matters - quite literally - into our own hands.
Perhaps you were lucky enough to have a housemate or partner to give the lockdown chop a go on your behalf, or perhaps you balanced mirrors all around the bathroom and had a crack at it yourself.

For Adam Levine, however, the man who seemingly changes his hairstyle with the passing of the seasons, this seems to be no such concern. Last year, for example, the singer of Maroon 5 and former coach on The Voice, shaved his head and got cornrows.
And now, Levine has shaken things up yet again, after going completely bald in the music video of Maroon 5's new single Nobody's Love.
Fans certainly have some mixed feelings about the brand new look. One wrote on Twitter, "Adam Levine's new look thooo...he looked like a broken hearted Mafia Leader singing Nobody's Love in the middle of the night," while another added, "I’m crying because Adam Levine shaved his head bald. Boy bye",
A third wrote, "Gah Damnn Adam Levine looks good bald." While another wrote, "*Showing my wife Adam Levine’s new bald haircut* Me: See babe? We look like twins now. Wife: Hm yeah not nearly as sexy as before. My funeral will be this Tuesday @ 11."
