Nobody likes having a camera shoved in their face - and that goes for A-list stars who are used to being in the spotlight.

Take, Adele, for example. Despite boasting 15 Grammys and multiple number one singles all over the globe, the 33-year-old singer still doesn't appreciate having a camera pointed at her when she's not expecting it.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what viewers saw unfold during the NBA All-Star game in Ohio yesterday (February 20). The 'Easy On Me' singer was sitting courtside with rumored boyfriend Rich Paul, when she suddenly became the center of attention.

Yes, despite being an NBA game, Adele found herself with a camera in her face - and her look told the entire story.

Check out the awkward moment below:

The chart-topper averted her eyes, refused to look down the lens, and maintained the best 'you better get that camera out of my face' look I've ever seen.

However, despite being painfully awkward to watch unfold, Adele's fans had her back - with many taking to social media to defend the singer.

One person joked: "Adele really said 'put all the cameras you want in my face, it’s my day off!!'"

"Dear Camera person at the All-Star game, please stop putting the camera on Adele. She does not look happy and does not want to be bothered. Thank you," another Twitter user wrote.

However, despite having the support of her fans, other Twitter users also took the opportunity to knock the singer for canceling her Caesar's Palace Hotel residency in Las Vegas, which January 21 and run until April 16.

"Adele be doing everything but her Vegas residency," one person tweeted.

Another sly dig read: "Everywhere except rehearsals."

In a teary Instagram video, the singer explained to fans that her show was simply not ready in time after it had been hit by "delivery delays and Covid".

"I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready," she said, adding that it had been "impossible" to finish the show.

On a lighter note, here's a fun nugget of information: Adele was also sat next to Mary J. Blige throughout last night's NBA event. Talk about a dream duet!
