Adele's father has passed away at the age of 57.
The singer, 33, has been estranged from father Mark Evans for years, and it has been reported that her dad was suffering from cancer for some time before he died.
A source close to the family told The Sun: "Mark's family are of course very upset by his passing. He always hoped things would work out with Adele, but it remained acrimonious to the end.
"He made a few attempts to make things right, but clearly it had been too long."

The 'Someone Like You' singer said that she had tried to repair her relationship with her dad, who walked out on her mother, Penny Adkins, when she was three years old.
She said in one interview cited by the Metro: "I don't hate him - he's my dad."
Evans first revealed his cancer diagnosis in 2013 and expressed fears at the time that he would not get a chance to meet Adele's son, Angelo, who she welcomed in 2012 with her now ex-husband, Simon Konecki.
Evans admitted: "I was a rotten father at a time when she really needed me.
"I was putting away two liters of vodka and seven or eight pints of Stella every day. I drank like that for three years. God only knows how I survived it."
He added: "I was deeply ashamed of what I'd become and I knew the kindest thing I could do for Adele was to make sure she never saw me in that state."

Evans said that he believed that it was in his daughter's best interests if he never saw him in the throes of alcoholism.
However, he said that he wished he could have had a chance to turn back time and make things right with his famous daughter.
The Sun reports that the pair's relationship began to deteriorate in 2011 when Adele's fame as a singer grew to new heights.
Adele's mother said: "You shouldn't have done that" when he gave a magazine interview that year.
He went on to claim that the pair had reconciled over a drink, a claim Adele has since denied.
Our thoughts are with Adele and her family at this time.
