Hilaria Baldwin has taken to social media to reveal how she and her husband Alec have "rallied" to give their children a Halloween to enjoy.
The 37-year-old's post comes amid the investigation into the death of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins - who was fatally shot on the set of Alec Baldwin's movie, Rust.
CNN reports that the incident took place in New Mexico on October 21. Baldwin was handed a functional prop firearm and discharged a round that wounded director Joel Souza and killed Hutchins.
Since the incident, both Alec and Hilaria have been staying in Manchester, Vermont. She recently told Page Six that she had taken her husband there "to mourn" and "to take care of him and his mental health".
On Sunday, October 31, Hilaria took to Instagram to reveal that despite the tragic incident and ongoing police investigation, the family were able to come together and give their kids a Halloween holiday to celebrate.
Sharing a series of photos of the family in their "last minute" costumes, Hilaria captioned the touching post: "Parenting through this has been an intense experience, to say the least. Today, we rallied to give them a holiday. Last min costumes... a little hodge-podge... but they were so happy and that warmed my mama heart."
"Happy Halloween, from the Baldwinitos. They give us [heart emoji]. We send you [pumpkin and heart emojis]."
In the pictures, 63-year-old Alec can be seen smiling with his young children and dressed up as a character from Where the Wild Things Are.
Alec and Hilaria share sons Edu, Romeo Alejandro David, Leonardo Ángel Charles, and Rafael Thomas, and daughters Carmen Gabriela and baby María Lucía Victoria.
Speaking to reporters over the weekend, Hilaria revealed her decision to take her family to Vermont following Hutchins' death.
"I didn’t know where I was going, I just drove. I just drove around and around and around with my kids," she said. "I brought [Alec] up here because we have to mourn Halyna’s death. Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD.
"You look at what happens to soldiers and police officers when something like this happens, it’s traumatic. We just came up here for quiet.
"He needs space for me to take care of him and his mental health. It’s an awful thing that happened. Alec feels awful."
Alec Baldwin also spoke to reporters at the weekend, telling them: "She was my friend, she was my friend.
"The day I arrived in Santa Fe to start shooting, I took her to dinner with Joel [Souza], the director. We were a very, very well-oiled crew shooting a film together, and then this horrible event happened."
Baldwin also revealed that he is in contact with Hutchins' husband and nine-year-old son.
"We are in constant contact with him because we're very worried about his family and his kid," the actor said.
