Ali Wong and Bill Hader confirm relationship with a kiss at the Golden Globes

Ali Wong and Bill Hader have gone Golden Globes official!

The two comedy stars went public with their relationship at last night's awards ceremony, confirming their romance with a kiss.

Last night saw the first time 41-year-old Wong had been nominated for a Golden Globe, and she beat out stars like Brie Larson and Elizabeth Olsen to be crowned the Best Actress in a Limited Series.

Wong had audiences hooked with her portrayal of the vengeful Amy Lau in the hit Netflix series, Beef, alongside male lead Steven Yeun.

And before taking to the stage, Wong set social media ablaze when she planted a kiss on Saturday Night Live icon Bill Hader.

One viewer tweeted: "A BILL HADER ALI WONG KISS AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES?? Maybe we just strap into the chaos and ride high?"

A second shocked social media user added: "Wait did Ali Wong just kiss Bill Hader on the lips? What is happening? I am confused. #GoldenGlobes".

"Wait a minute?! Ali Wong is with Bill Hader?! That was a mouth kiss! #GoldenGlobes," a third viewer added, with a fourth commenting: "I KNOW I DID NOT JUST SEE ALI WONG AND BILL HADER KISS ON THE MOUTH??????"

According to Us Weekly, Wong and Hader were first romantically linked when the latter took part in a 2022 interview with Collider, in which, he spoke about an unnamed "girlfriend".

Both Wong and Hader were married before hooking up. Hader married director Maggie Carey in 2006 and welcomed three children together. They would split in 2017.

Wong married Justin Hakuta in 2014 and welcomed two daughters together.

During her acceptance speech at last night's Golden Globes, she publically thanked Hakuta for his contribution to her success.

"I really need to thank the father of my children and my best friend, Justin, for all of your love and support. It's because of you that I'm able to be a working mother," she said while accepting her award.

Speaking on her decision to mention her ex-husband during her speech, Wong told ET after the show: "Yeah that's right, I like to keep it peaceful and grateful and amicable."
