Amber Heard has opened up about her fear that she will be "silenced" once more after losing her defamation trial against Johnny Depp earlier this month.

On June 1, seven jurors sided mostly with the 59-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star and awarded him $15 million in damages - an amount which was later reduced to $10.35 million due to a matter of Virginia state law.

Essentially, the jury did not believe that Depp was responsible for abusing the Aquaman actress - either physically or sexually. They did, however, find Depp liable on one count of defaming Heard and she was awarded $2 million.

Now, two weeks after the verdicts were announced, Heard is speaking out against the outcome of the high-profile trial.

In another preview of her post-trial interview with The Today Show's Savannah Guthrie, Heard said that she was "scared" of being silenced again.

"I took for granted what I assumed was my right to speak," Heard told Guthrie. "I'm scared that no matter what I do, no matter what I say or how I say it, every step that I take will present another opportunity for the sort of silencing — which is what a defamation lawsuit is meant to do; it's meant to take your voice."

Elsewhere in the interview, she insisted that she "absolutely" still loves Depp.

“On the first day of the trial, you issued a statement. And part of the statement said, ‘I still have love for Johnny. Is that still true?” Guthrie asked.

"Absolutely I love him. I loved him with all my heart," Heard said. "And I tried the best I could to make a deeply broken relationship work and I couldn't.

"I have no bad feelings or ill will towards him at all," she added. "I know that might be hard to understand or it might be really easy to understand if you've just ever loved anyone. It should be easy."

The Pineapple Express actress had previously told Guthrie that she stands by "every word" she said when she testified last month, insisting: "I've made a lot of mistakes. A lot of mistakes. But I've always told the truth."
