The list was released by Ranker, a website featuring polls on entertainment, brands, sports, food, and culture.

The site obtains individual user votes and tracks them across various lists, which reveals correlations between interests across pop culture.

This week, the website dropped a "The Most Disliked Celebrities Of 2024" list which has accumulated 484.3K votes, with 41.1k voters.

James Corden:

The 45-year-old host of 'The Late Late Show' came in at number 15 on the list.

Despite Corden's enormous success from starring in the critically acclaimed BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey to crossing over to the States, it seems like not many people are fans of him.

According to Screen Rant, the father-of-three has been accused of being "rude and fake" in interviews and has been the recipient of criticism from other significant industry workers such as TV director Craig Duncan and Restaurateur Keith McNally.

James Charles:

Beauty creator James Charles was placed at number 14, right after Corden.

The 24-year-old's meteoric rise on the internet was halted after his former mentor Tati Westbrook accused him of behaving inappropriately in a controversial video shared in May 2019.

Fellow makeup star Jeffree Star supported Westbrook's claims, which led to Charles eventually losing a staggering three million subscribers on the platform.

Danny Masterson:

The former That ‘70s Show star, who was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison after he was found guilty of two counts of forcible rape, was number 13 on the list.

While handing down the sentence on September 7, Judge Olmedo to the disgraced TV star: “Mr Masterson, you are not the victim here," as cited by The Independent. "Your actions 20 years ago took away another person’s choice and voice. Your actions 20 years ago today were criminal, and that’s why you are here."

So, it's pretty self-explanatory why Masterson is on the list.

Kris Jenner, who rose to fame starring in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, was placed at number 12 behind infamous YouTuber Jake Paul, who has had numerous controversies and scandals in the public eye.

Amber Heard:

The 38-year-old Aquaman star was number 10 on the list, most likely because she was involved in a highly publicized defamation case surrounding domestic abuse and defamation against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

Following an intense court battle that was also broadcast live and included both actors making shocking allegations against each other, a jury ruled in the Pirates of the Caribbean actor's favor on all three claims.

Depp was awarded millions in damages.

Former A-list couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian appeared on the list, with the rapper placing at number 9 while his ex-wife was number 8.

More controversial figures such as Chris Brown (number 7) and Bill Cosby (number 6) were also voted as the "most disliked" celebrities. Former talk show host Ellen Degerenous, who ended her daytime show in May 2022 after toxic workplace allegations surfaced, was number 5.

Sean "Diddy" Combs came in a number 4 on the list. This comes after his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed an explosive lawsuit against him in November 2023, accusing him of physically and sexually abusing her for years.

The rapper is also currently facing five other civil lawsuits accusing him of a range of sexual misconduct and other illegal activity.

Oprah Winfrey, best known for hosting The Oprah Winfrey Show which aired for 25 seasons, made it to the top 3 of the list.

Last year, the 70-year-old faced backlash for using weight-loss medication Ozempic, despite her long-standing role as an ambassador for Weight Watchers.

We have finally made it to the top 2 of the "most disliked" celebrity of 2024.

According to Ranker, voters have decided that royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should take the top spots.

The 39-year-old Duke of Sussex, who has long come under fire for his "abandoning" the Royal Family by moving to the US with his wife, was placed at number 2.

Since leaving his country, the father-of-two has been slammed by UK outlets and critics for leaving his brother and dad when it comes to royal duties.

Markle, who married Harry in 2018, was voted number one on the list - most likely because of her short-lived time as a senior royal.

However, the website reported that "despite the challenges and scrutiny faced," the 42-year-old "remains a figure of intrigue and admiration for many, symbolizing a modern approach to royalty, philanthropy, and public life".
