Amy Schumer has been slammed for posting a now-deleted photo of Nicole Kidman at the US Open to her Instagram.
The 42-year-old comedian was accused of "bullying" after she shared a snapshot of the Eyes Wide Shut star at the US Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
In the photo, Kidman appeared to be watching the women's final match between Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka, which took place on September 9.
The Big Little Lies actress is seen watching the tennis court intensely while resting her hand underneath her chin. She donned a pink dress and white jacket for the sports occasion, with her strawberry blonde hair in a side ponytail.

On Monday (September 11), the Trainwreck actress poked fun at Kidman as she captioned the Instagram post: "This how humans sit," however her post was quickly inundated with disappointed users accusing her of "bullying" the award-winning star.
According to Page Six, one person asked: "Are you cyberbullying Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman right now," while another said: "Bringing others down is always a sign of our own internal insecurities anyway, so the critics here should hold a mirror."
Daily Mail reported that a follower penned: "Wow so mean! I expected one of my favorite comediennes to have more respect for other people's feelings than this."
Another fan scolded Schumer in the comments about the joke. "Have always thought you were funny, seen all your specials, movies, read your book. But this selective mean girl public trolling stuff? No thanks," they stated.
The I Feel Pretty actress deleted the photo that same day and apologized in a following post, which she later deleted as well.
In her apology, she seemingly quipped that she posted the photograph of the Moulin Rouge star because she looked like "an alien," writing: "I want to apologize to all the people I hurt posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien."
The comedian then appeared to reference the video made by Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis apologizing after they wrote character letters to their "dear friend" and convicted rapist Danny Masterson.
"I will be asking the cast of That '70s Show to write letters advocating for my forgiveness," she said in the now-deleted post, adding the hashtag "#takingtimetoheal."

While the actress did not respond to the comedian's post, she congratulated Gauff for claiming victory over world number one Sabalenka on her Instagram Stories.
"Congratulations Coco!", Kidman captioned a photo of the 19-year-old, per the Daily Mail. "Thank you US Open! Great Women’s Final 2023."
