Now, speculation around whether or not the 31-year-old singer has ever been under the knife has been rife over the past few years, especially since she adopted an all-new style compared to the original one she stepped out on the scene with.

Ditching the fake tan and long high-pinned ponytail, the star switched it up for a more clean-girl aesthetic, keeping her makeup simple and glowy and also opting for more slicked-back hairstyles which are clearly reflective of the latest beauty trends.

However, that hasn't stopped fans wondering whether Grande has ever had cosmetic work done to help change up her look.

In a new lie detector test with Vanity Fair alongside her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo, the 'We Can't Be Friends' hitmaker decided to lay it all on the line to answer questions surrounding the topic including whether or not she's ever had a facelift.

During the rapid-fire round, Grande was hit with a bunch of questions from Erivo, starting off with: "Did you ever get any work done to feel more popular?"

"To my face? To my physical appearance?" questioned the star.

"Yes, I'm going to ask all the questions," the British actress replied, to which Grande seemed to be glad that someone was finally going to put this debate to rest.

"Did you get your nose done?", "Did you get a boob job?", and "Did you get a facelift?" were three of the questions asked to the Grammy-award-winning singer, who responded "no" to all of them.

The lie detector test came out to state that she was telling the truth, much to the shock of fans.

"This is the best day of my life," Grande said after the result was confirmed. "Take that you YouTube people," she added, referring to the ever-growing pile of videos analyzing the star's face and spreading rumors about what work she may or may not have had.

The questions continued.

"Did you get a fox eye lift?... [and] what about a chin implant?" Erivo added.

Grande denied having either of the trendy procedures but did admit to having "Botox and filler" but "stopped four years ago."

"That is the extent," she said before going on to conclude that she was supportive of others if they wanted to go under the knife to make themselves feel more beautiful.

Despite the star being hooked up to a lie detector, fans online were still not entirely convinced of her answers, using old and new photos to double down on their point.

"She is truly stunning– but let’s face the truth she looks unrecognizable," wrote one user on X while another added: "Lie detector tests are actually extremely unreliable and prove absolutely nothing. More than half of U.S. states do NOT even allow them be used as admissible evidence in court."

A third also chimed in, writing: "Ari girl we love you but bffr, it's just too obvious love."

And this user seemed unimpressed by it all, commenting: "All that Ariana Grande lie detector test taught me was that she’s a disturbingly good liar. 'No plastic surgery' like just be honest! Plastic surgery is okay but lying about [it] is a problem."

Yikes.

Grande has previously been open about getting Botox and filler during a get-ready-with-me-style interview for Vogue.

"I've had a tonne of lip filler over the years and Botox, but I stopped in 2018 because I just felt so... too much.

"I just felt like hiding, you know?" she continued, getting visibly emotional before pretending to cut the camera and laugh off the moment.

The star will appear alongside Erivo for the musical Wicked, which is set to release next month.
