Ben Affleck revealed that his manhood was on full display during a shower scene in a film from 12 years ago.
The Man of Steel actor has featured in his fair share of blockbusters over the years, but fans were sent into hysteria over one explicit scene in his filmography.
2014 psychological thriller Gone Girl was highly praised by critics and viewers alike, starring the likes of Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Emily Ratajkowski and Neil Patrick Harris, among others.
The title would go on to be nominated for an Oscar and BAFTA, in addition to other awards, while still being held in high regard today.
However, there may be a section of fans who enjoy the film for a nude scene that features Affleck.
While you might be caught off guard and see more than you may have wanted to, the actor has admitted that the scene was actually shot with him - bits and all.
Speaking about the scene, Affleck admitted that it was his personal manhood which appeared on-screen, with no prosthetics present.
His character, Nick Dunne, can be seen getting into the shower during the shot, with viewers possibly being shown more than they'd bargained for.
Affleck's former partners have sung his praises in the bedroom previously, but he is understandably modest about it all.
Speaking at the Hollywood Film Awards in 2014, he said: "I want to take this opportunity to thank David for the way he treated me. In particular, we had a shower scene in the movie.
"And David assured me, because trust is essential with directors and actors: 'Listen, if we tilt down we will never go far enough to see anything'.
"So, thank you David. And I'd like to thank you for keeping the set cool."
"Because if you are gonna have one chance for America to see your junk you want it to be cold. It's a real gift," the actor joked.
Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner at the time of the film's release, and she directly addressed the size of his manhood.
She joked that his penis was so big that they would need a "wide lens" to make sure it was all on camera.
Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2014, she admitted, as reported by the LA Times: "He's showing his penis. I think you're probably onto something."
She further said to DeGeneres: "What I have to say is - you’re welcome.
"You know, I try to consider myself a charitable person and I wanted to give back."
The 13 Going On 30 star added of the shower scene: "It was a discussion. It was like 'Hey, um at work today [director David] Fincher talked me into coming out of the shower.'
"And I was like, 'Cool, well I hope he had on a wide lens'."
The scene is one of those 'blink and you'll miss it' moments, but fans who spotted it were sure to make it clear that it features.
Affleck and Garner married in 2005 and welcomed three children - Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and 11-year-old Samuel, before finalizing their divorce in 2018.
