Billie Eilish has laughed off the fact she lost 100,000 Instagram followers after posting a collection of nude sketches to her Stories.

The 19-year-old chart-topper was taking part in a new social media trend that sees Instagram users ask their followers what pictures they would like to see.

In this instance, one of Eilish's 73 million followers asked the singer to share "a drawing [she's] really proud of".

In response, Eilish shared a photo showing a series of drawings showing naked women... and what appears to be some snakes. Eilish wrote on the post: "These probably lol I love boobs".

However, despite the sketches being quite good IMO, it turns out not everybody enjoyed the NSFW illustrations.

In another Story post, the 'Bad Guy' star shared a screenshot of a tweet from a fan who had been monitoring Eilish's follower count both before and after she shared the boob drawings.

And, somewhat unbelievably, the sketches appeared to cost the Grammy award-winner 100,000 followers.

But Eilish certainly didn't seem too bothered by the loss, as she wrote alongside the screenshot: "LMFAOOO. Y'all babies. SMH."

And this certainly isn't the first time this year Eilish has stood her ground.

Earlier this year, Eilish stripped off on stage to make a powerful statement on body shaming:

Back in October, the teen was photographed by paparazzi wearing a tank top while running errands with friends during an outing in Los Angeles.

However, after the snaps showed Eilish without her signature baggy clothes, the singer was the victim of a torrent of cruel comments from trolls on social media.

Nevertheless, the teenager wasn't going to let these small-minded comments knock her down, as she opened up about the body-shaming in a recent interview with Vanity Fair.

"There's this picture of me running from my car to my brother’s front door on like a 110-degree day in a tank top. And people were like, 'Damn, Billie got fat!'" the singer told the publication. "And I'm like, 'Nope, this is how I look, you’ve just never seen it before!'"

"I think yeah, the reason people are looking up to you is because you're you," Eilish explained. "They're not looking up to you so that you'll tell them something that you never actually tell them. They're looking up to you so that you tell them something that you would tell them yourself.

"I love having kids relate to me and tell me that I make them feel comfortable in their bodies. Like, if I can do anything I want to do that."
