Billie Eilish has come under fire for using a racist slur and mocking Asian accents in resurfaced footage.
The controversial videos of the singer, 19, were posted to TikTok on Monday (June 14) by user @lcxvy and showed her saying "ch*nk" – an offensive slur used by racists to refer to those of Asian descent.
A second clip showed the star, who recently featured on the cover of Vogue magazine, allegedly mocking an Asian accent as her brother Finneas criticized her for speaking in a "black accent".

The video left fans of the pop singer shocked – with some calling for her to be "canceled". However, others defended her behavior by stating that she has Tourettes.
Billie revealed that she suffers from the disorder in 2018, however, pointed out that she experiences physical tics instead of verbal ones.
Reacting to the videos, one TikTok user wrote: "No becuz I love her sm and I am attached to her but now I'm very disappointed [sic]."

A second added: "Not defending her but how did everyone just find out about this want to cancel her now? These videos have been existing for years and no one has."

A third, however, defended the singer on account of her allegedly being 14 in the videos.
They wrote: "U guys are sensitive and she was 14, she does not act like that anymore and we all know it but for some reason we dug out those vids [sic]."

A fourth similarly wrote: "Oh god she's a CHILD. people make mistakes. People change."

While a fifth wrote: "She's more problematic than I thought she was."

Responding to Bilie's age in the videos, a sixth wrote: "when it's someone whos liked and well known, y'all don't want to admit they're a bad person. none of this can be justified. age doesn't matter. [sic]"

Meanwhile, a seventh explained that they were going to reserve judging the singer until Bilie herself has addressed the footage.

VT has reached out to Eilish's agent for comment.
