Following the backlash that Sandra Bullock received in the wake of Michael Oher's claims, the actor who portrayed him has blasted those targeting the actress.
The bombshell lawsuit filed by Michael Oher has shocked fans of the hit movie The Blind Side, as his claims would undo the heartwarming narrative that the flick portrayed.
Oher alleges that the acclaimed film does not accurately reflect the actual dynamics between him and the Tuohy family. The family, depicted as Oher's caring mentors in the movie, now faces allegations that they guided Oher into a conservatorship rather than formal adoption, allegedly benefiting from his achievements, as reported by ESPN.

One critic tweeted: "So Sandra Bullock should have to give back her Oscar right, and man do we need to start checking these good feeling stories. The parents blocked $300 in earnings the movie from him getting any of it and gave the money to their real children? WOOOOOOOW!"
There were others who claimed that Bullock should return the award, and these statements struck a chord with Quinton Aaron, who depicted Oher on the big screen.

As per TMZ, the actor stated that Bullock had no involvement with the latest drama, and targeting her is unfair.
"To make a statement like that doesn't make any sense," Aaron said. "Sandra Bullock didn't have anything to do with the real story that we're reading as of right now."
The actor praised Bullock's performance which won her the Academy Award, and it's evident that he believes she was well deserving of it.
"She gave a brilliant performance," Aaron said. "And that shouldn't be tarnished for something that had nothing to do with her."
Regarding the claims made against the Touhys, Aaron added: "I got a good sense from all of them, they were real cool to me."

In response to the lawsuit, Sean Tuohy, who the film portrayed as Oher's adoptive father, expressed his family's profound distress. "Our bond with Michael remains steadfast," he conveyed, revealing that the accusations have taken a "devastating" toll on his family, according to the Daily Memphian.
Oher's legal action spotlights his claim that the Tuohys manipulated him into a conservatorship agreement when he was just 18 years old.
This arrangement, Oher alleges, allowed the Tuohy family to capitalize on his name and achievements.
Amidst this challenging period, Oher voiced his disillusionment and emphasized his desire for privacy. "The revelations disclosed in today's lawsuit have left me disheartened," he stated. "My family and I are navigating through a difficult time. I kindly ask everyone to respect our privacy during this phase."
